Delicious and healthy smoothie recipe

This article is about a super tasty and healthy smoothie recipe – one of my favorites. It is even so delicious that you will find it hard to believe that it is good for you.  It is low in fat and calories and high in taste and satisfaction.

It also contains some fat burning foods, that may help you lose some unwanted fat. Some fat burning foods can also help you to live a much fuller, longer life, and also help you to have less cravings along the way.

Here’s one of my favorite smoothie recipes I hope you enjoy it as much as I do:

Peanut butter chocolate smoothie

This smoothie is so delicious and chocolaty that you will forget that it is actually very healthy and a fat burning recipe. Make sure that you use only frozen bananas, as it makes the smoothie creamier and more refreshing.

Serves: 2
Number of fat burning foods: 6 (all the ingredients )
Calories per serving:250
Fat per serving:7g

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas, frozen
  • 250 ml fat free milk
  • 2 tablespoons fat free chocolate or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 blocks dark chocolate
  • 50g oats, dry
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 6 ice cubes, crushed

Instructions:

Blend everything together in a smoothie machine on high. Pour into a smoothie glass or even a plastic container to take with you to work or school. If you don’t have a smoothie machine, then a high quality blender will do. A food processor may even do in a pinch, but as with everything in the kitchen, there is always the right tool for the job.

Oh, I almost forgot… remember that if you ultimately want to be healthier and maybe lose some weight along the way, then you also have to do some exercise. The best exercises incorporate a combination of weight training and cardio. For weight loss, I would recommend that you exercise at least 3 times a week.  The best equipment for weight training is fitness adjustable dumbbells and the best cardio machine in my eyes is the eliptical exercise machine. Incorporating both cardio and weight training into your workout regimen will allow you enjoy great results in less time, which will also serve to keep you interested in your workout routine.
