A Slow Cooker Cookbook for Easy Meals
Are you interested in living the slow-cookin’ lifestyle, but perhaps you’re not too handy around the kitchen when it comes to whipping up your own recipes? Do you lack the confidence to just throw some ingredients in the crock pot and see what comes the process. Rear not, my friend, I was once in your very shoes, and a slow cooker cookbook may be your savior…
I’ve always fancied myself rather creative when it comes to the culinary arts. Heck, at one point in my young life I was even considering attending culinary training classes in order to become a trained chef. Somewhere along the way, though, I lost my creative flow as it were, and just couldn’t seem to get things back on track. It got so bad that at one point I lost the confidence to even fry up an omelet. AN OMELET! Well, those days are long gone, but I distinctly remember teh process that pulled me out of my funk.
It all started with a simple cookbook; I was browsing the local bookstore, and eventually made my way to the cuisine section. Now, I can get lost in a bookstore, and spend hours upon hours browsing the many selections on a variety of topics. I often find myself in the culinary section, so on this day things seemed rather normal. While I was perusing the offerings, I stumbled onto a cookbook that I still own and reference to this day(I won’t divulge the author or particular book, this post really isn’t about that specifically).
I browsed the pages for about ten minutes, then finally decided to purchase the cookbook, and the rest is history. I’ve made every recipe in that cookbook at least twice, and several are staples of my repertoire, with slight tweaks to help make the recipes my own of course! The name of the cookbook is irrelevant, because it was just a tool to help me regain my confidence. I break out the cookbook on occasion just to peruse the pages again as a refresher, but with the advent of the internet you can most certainly find anything you’re interested in through a search engine query. I guess the moral of the story, in a roundabout way, is that you should never be afraid to seek help when things aren’t necessarily going your way.
How does this help you? Well, if you’re struggling to come up with new and exciting recipes to make with your Rival crock pot, then perhaps a slow cooker cookbook, or even multiple slow cooker cookbooks would be a viable option to help break you out of your funk. These are something you can research and purchase right from teh comfort of your own home, which is one of the things that truly make the internet the wonderful invention that it has become.
Recipes for your crock pot shouldn’t be a burden, and they certainly shouldn’t be something that hinders you from living the slow-cookin’ lifestyle that many others have discovered and enjoyed. So if you’ve reached a point where you don’t feel completely comfortable with your own crock pot recipe process, then don’t ever be too proud to invest in some cookbooks. Heck, even Julia Childs had to start somewhere…
You can make all the recipes you find in your cookbooks with your Rival Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Model 3355 Quite simply the best crock pot we’ve ever owned, and one of the best gifts we’ve ever received…
