Zojirushi rice cooker – In my opinion, the best rice cooker is made by the company Zojirushi. I have used their products for years and have tried out three different rice cookers so have quite a bit of experience with these machines.
First of all, regardless of the brand you choose, getting a rice cooker that is the right size is essential. If you live alone, a 3 cup machine would be the best. Then, for people with families, a 5 1/2 cup model would probably be about right. However if you have a very large family then you make be better off with a 10 cup device.

Japanese brands that are sold in North America include Sanyo, Panasonic, Tiger and Zojirushi rice cookers. In fact, as long as you choose a Japanese product then you will be able to easily make great tasting rice. The reason I like Zojirushi the best is that this is the brand I have most experience with.

These days, there are over 20 different Zojirushi models that are on sale in North America. They come in different sizes, shapes, costs and styles.
It is important to choose the right size for your needs. On top of this you should check out the various options the units have. This will help you get one that can make the foods that you want. Another feature that most of these machines have nowadays, and that all Zojirushi Micom rice cookers have, is a detachable inner lid. This makes cleaning up your rice cooker very easy. Also, Zojirushi rice cookers typically only have rice cooking settings, there are a few that have a cake cooking option but that is it. These machines are designed for cooking rice and they do it really well.
You truly cannot go wrong when you consider a Zojirushi rice cooker for your rice cooking needs.
